Basebal and softball is a rotational sport, you have to rotate your body.
3. Take the knob to the ball
The best hitters in the world do not take their knob to the ball. They take the knob and hands above the pitch.
4. Get on top of the ball
Not one good MLB hitter gets on top of the ball. The barrel works back to front in a forward motion.
5. Hit the ball out in front
Trying to hit the baseball out in front will leave you susceptible to the off-speed pitch. Contact should be made at your front foot.
